YOUR OWN KIND OF STYLE · 2 MIN READ
You don't have to pick an aesthetic.
A soft dress today. Something completely different tomorrow. There's room for all of it.

There's something comforting about a name for your style. It gives you a place to start. But it can also make getting dressed feel like staying in character.
You can like soft colors and sharp jackets. You can wear something quiet most days and want something a little dramatic on Saturday. Those aren't contradictions.
Pay attention to the feeling.
Instead of asking whether a piece fits an aesthetic, ask whether you want to spend a day in it. Does it feel easy? A little more confident? Like the version of yourself you wanted to bring out today?
A photo can help you notice the look. Moving around helps you notice the rest.
Borrow a detail, not a whole identity.
When an outfit catches your eye, look for the thing that actually drew you in. Maybe it's the long line of the trousers, the unexpected shoes, or the way two colors sit together.
Try that detail with something you already own. You don't have to become the person in the photo to enjoy what they're wearing.
Keep changing your mind.
Personal style is allowed to be a work in progress. Save what you like. Let go of what no longer feels right. Ask for a second opinion when you want one, and keep the final say.
It should feel like a little more you. That's plenty.
