THE LITTLE DETAILS · 2 MIN READ
Sometimes, it's just the sleeves.
The small changes that make an outfit feel considered, without making it feel complicated.

You know the feeling. The pieces are good together, but the outfit isn't quite there. Before you change everything, try changing almost nothing.
Let the proportions move a little.
A pushed-up sleeve shows a little more wrist. A small front tuck changes where a top meets your trousers. An unbuttoned layer lets the shape underneath show through.
None of these is automatically better. They're just easy ways to see the same pieces differently. Try one, take a look, and keep it only if you like it.
Find a color that's already there.
You don't need to match your shoes to your bag. But picking up a warm brown from your knit, or a little cream from your trousers, can help separate pieces feel like they belong in the same conversation.
Texture does some of that work too. A soft knit with crisp cotton is interesting even when the colors are quiet.
Leave some room for ordinary.
Not every outfit needs a focal point, a third piece, or a clever styling trick. Sometimes the best adjustment is taking off the extra thing you added because you thought you had to.
When it feels comfortable and looks like you, you can stop. You're getting dressed, not completing an assignment.
